The India Pavilion of Dubai Expo 2020 was managed and successfully executed by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) as the industry partner of the Government of India with the support of Department of Commerce, Government of India. The India Pavilion witnessed over more than 3000 B2B & B2G meetings participated by delegates from various participating States, Sectors, and industry, discussing trade and investment opportunities & mutual areas of collaboration with counterparts from 192 participating countries.
As an outcome of the Dubai Expo 2020, FICCI is setting up a Trade Facilitation Centre (Handholding Services for Indian Exporters) at Dubai, with the objective to support Indian exporters to expand their markets and exports in GCC, Africa, CIS and Europe region fulfilling the vision of $2 Trillion exports by 2027, target set by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. The Centre will be supported by Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, and the Government of UAE.
The Export Centre will facilitate the Indian exporters (FIRST 100) in the sectors like: Agri & Food, Textile, Healthcare (including Pharma, Medical Devices), Handicrafts, Gems & Jewellery, Leather & Leather Products, Auto Mobile Components, Building Materials etc in the first year and shall dedicatedly work for them for ONE Year to increase their exports by connecting Global partners/Buyers/ Hypermarket/ Retail Chain and many other services……
