Suppliers from Asian and European countries will show their latest collection of natural and blended yarns including cotton, wool, flax/regenerated flax, man-made fibres and yarns, and specialty products including elastic, fancy and blended yarns at Yarn Expo in China from August 29-31. Yarn Expo is a leading sourcing platform for exhibitors and visitors.

Yarn Expo Autumn 2022 is also an ideal opportunity for overseas buyers to gain access to some of the leading domestic suppliers in the industry. The event will provide an excellent opportunity for overseas suppliers to build stronger relationships in the region and increase their presence in the market, fair organiser said in a press release.

“We brought our yarns from Vietnam to the fair. We saw an increase in demand for imported yarns because more people had requirements for overseas products while having concerns about cost and quality, therefore they would like to learn more about them. Yarn Expo maintained its scale and quality despite the pandemic, as we had plenty of buyers with purchasing intention,” said Kelly Gao, executive – IBD Yarn, Texperts India Pvt. Ltd., an exhibitor who participated in the previous edition.

“Due to the disruption of the pandemic, we followed market trends to focus on sourcing environmentally-friendly and anti-bacterial materials which have gained popularity recently. The quantity and quality were higher than expected, and although the pandemic impacted international participation, there will still be some foreign exhibitors present,” said Jingxiang Lu, director, Changshu Runfa Textile Co. Ltd., one of the buyers from the previous edition.
