Talking at the debut function of the corporate office of Rasi Seeds at Puliakulam here on the day, he said the region under cotton development would be expanded to 4.53 lakh sections of land this year from 3.5 lakh sections of land in the earlier year.

Panneerselvam said the state has developed paddy on five extra lakh sections of land this year. “Analysts at the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) are chipping away at presenting a paddy assortment that could endure dry season and downpour.
