Euro region worldwide exchange products deficiency €7.6 bn in Feb 2022

The primary gauge for euro region product of merchandise to the remainder of the world in February 2022 was €215.8 billion, an increment of 17% contrasted and February 2021 (€184.5 billion). Imports from the remainder of the world remained at €223.4 billion, an ascent of 38.8 percent contrasted and February 2021 (€161.0 billion), driven once more, specifically, by a further expansion in energy imports.

The primary gauge for extra-EU products of merchandise in February 2022 was €191.9 billion, up by 16.4 percent contrasted and February 2021 (€164.8 billion). Imports from the remainder of the world remained at €207.7 billion, up by 44.7 percent contrasted and February 2021 (€143.5 billion).

Subsequently, the EU recorded a €15.8 billion deficiency in exchange merchandise with the remainder of the world in February 2022, contrasted and an excess of €21.4 billion in February 2021. Intra-EU exchange rose to €315.1 billion February 2022, up by 22.6 percent contrasted and February 2021.

In January to February 2022, extra-EU commodities of merchandise rose to €371.4 billion — an increment of 18.4 percent contrasted and January-February 2021 — and imports rose to €424.0 billion — an increment of 49.3 percent contrasted and January-February 2021.

Subsequently, the EU recorded a deficiency of €52.7 billion, contrasted and an excess of €29.8 billion in January-February 2021. Intra-EU exchange rose to €620.8 billion January-February 2022, up by 23.5 percent contrasted and January-February 2021.
