Delhi government to increase minimum daily wages of workers amid Covid-19

The Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia announced a hike in the minimum wages of the unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled labourers to help them fight back the impacts of the pandemic on their economic conditions.  This increases the monthly wages of the unskilled workers from Rs 15,908 to Rs 16,064, while that of the semi-skilled and skilled workers will increase from Rs 17,537 to Rs 17,693 and from Rs 19,291 to Rs 19,473 respectively.
