Coming soon! Exhibition of US textile firm

Traditional Yorkshire worsted fabrics, heritage Scottish textiles, new wool strengths, elegant cashmere, luxurious mohair, decorative tweeds, and a new easy to wash wool denim, as well as innovative organic waxed fabrics, are on display at the ongoing Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics.

The UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT) is assisting the UK textile industry in promoting their fabrics at one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive apparel fabric and accessories trade shows.

Dugdale Bros & Co, founded in 1896, is Huddersfield’s last independently owned English cloth merchant. Dugdale is excited to be exhibiting some of its finest autumn/winter fabrics and hopes that participating will help to expand its distribution in the region.

As the market shifts to a more relaxed dress code, John Foster’s collection includes worsted suiting fabrics as well as jackets and blazers. The styling is playful, color-focused, and rooted in nature and surroundings.

Standeven, which has been weaving some of the world’s finest luxury cloth for over 125 years, is now making its stock supported patterns exclusively available to fashion designers as a cut length service. To constantly introduce new bunches, the mill’s in-house design team draws inspiration from its extensive cloth archives.

Standeven ensures that all cloth is produced to the highest standards possible in its own mill, with the maker and wearer in mind.

Linton Tweeds creates luxurious, fancy tweed fabrics in innovative woven structures for global luxury brands. This season’s collection features a diverse range of qualities ranging from classics to elegant. Patterns range from all-over textures to large stripes and geometric patterns, in intricate dobby and posileno structures, and in a wide range of colours and surface interest.

Prickly Thistle is mainland Scotland’s newest and northernmost mill, weaving 21st-century tartan on century-old looms. Thistle is making its debut in Shanghai, sharing sustainable fabrics with its storey, purpose, and value systems woven into them.
