Levi’s releases its first sustainability report

Levi Strauss & Co. has released its first annual sustainability report, which details the company’s efforts to reduce its environmental effect and promote transparency.
According to Levi, the report, which is based on Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainable Accounting Standard Board (SASB) guidelines, highlights ongoing sustainability activities and establishes new goals.
It indicates that the company is on course to reach its existing science-based targets for decreasing GHG emissions in its owned-and-operated facilities, as well as its worldwide supply chain, by 2025, as well as its renewable electricity targets.
