In a statement issued today, Manoj Kumar Patodia, Chairman of TEXPROCIL, hailed the release of the long-awaited RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Export Products) rates for exports.
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his vision of including the whole textile value chain within the RoDTEP Scheme. This would not only ensure the healthy growth of the value chain, but will also boost India’s competitiveness in international markets, he added.
Patodia further stated that the RoDTEP Rates will help clusters create raw materials, provide completed items, boost employment, and realise the goal of a “Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
Manoj Kumar Patodia also congratulated Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Finance Minister, and Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and Textiles, as well as Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Minister of State for Textiles, for notifying the RoDTEP rates.
