Sri Lankan clothing exporters improve supply chain transparency and ethical branding

The Apparel Exporters Association of Sri Lanka stated that it is increasing supply chain transparency and emphasising ethical practises in order to attract buyers and increase standards in order to improve the industry’s brand image.
“The new website highlights our capabilities in sustainability, technology, and our strategic relevance as a worldwide sourcing destination,” SLAEA Chairman AroonHirdaramani stated.
“I believe the new logo and website will significantly aid our industry’s marketing efforts.”
The logo of SLAEA, the association representing the Sri Lankan clothing industry, has been revamped. The new logo represents the teardrop shape of Sri Lanka, the female workforce of the industry and a pearl to signify the island’s identity as the pearl of the Indian Ocean. The apex body of the Industry will use the website to project the whole industry on one platform in which buyers and investors can easily access.
