Unifi Inc. was able to conclude fiscal 2021 on a high note thanks to another quarterly increase in worldwide sales.
Following the end of the stock market on Wednesday, the Greensboro yarn producer recorded a net income of $13.4 million. The fiscal year came to a close on June 27.
Unifi’s fourth-quarter sales were $184.4 million, compared with $86 million a year ago. The manufacturer went to limited production during the fourth quarter of 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the full year, Unifi reported net income of $29.1 million, up from $57.2 million. Repreve has seen its hang tags with its co-branding partners increase 60% year-over-year. The company says consumer demand for sustainable product offerings is more popular than ever before. Repreve will continue to invest in new and innovative ways to meet the needs of its customers.
