The building of India’s top clothing exporter Gokaldas Images’ new facility in Telangana has begun. The facility is planned to employ 1,000 workers.
K.T. Rama Rao, the State Minister for Information Technology and Industries, lay the groundwork for the unit.
Sircilla Apparel Park is home to a 500-machine sewing plant. The plant will produce innerwear for both men and women. It is the first Gokaldas Images plant in Telangana and will employ over 1,000 locals, the vast majority of whom will be women. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the state government and the firm in April 2021.
