Yoox Net-a-Porter (YNAP), an Italian luxury retailer, claims to have met its objective of procuring 100 percent renewable electricity across all of its managed sites by the end of 2020.

The goal was revealed in November of last year as part of the company’s broader sustainability strategy, dubbed “Infinity.”

On Thursday, YNAP announced that it has met the RE100 target, a corporate initiative that brings together top firms from around the world committed to 100 percent renewable electricity. RE100 was founded in 2014, and the group was the first online luxury clothes company to join. By 2030, YNAP hopes to be climate positive across its operations and private label value chain as part of its ‘Infinity’ strategy. In 2018, YNAP achieved 100 percent renewable electricity across its Italian operations, followed by 100 percent renewable power across its US operations in 2020.
