The government informed Parliament that 24 greenfield parks have been completed under the Scheme for Integrated Textile Park (SITP) MoS for textiles Darshana Jardosh told the Rajya Sabha that Gujarat and Maharashtra have seven such parks each. four are in Tamil Nadu, two in Rajasthan, and one each in Karnataka, Punjab, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. SITP is being implemented with a view to increase investment. Generate employment opportunities and to boost exports in the textile sector by providing financial assistance to a group of entrepreneurs to establish their textile units
