In June of this year, China’s clothing retail sales increased by 12.80 percent

In 2021, China’s clothing retail sales are expected to continue rising.
According to newly released statistics from China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the country’s domestic clothing retail sales were RMB 117.40 billion (US $ 18.13 billion) in June ’21, representing a 12.80% year-on-year increase.
China’s clothing retail sales increased by 33.70 percent year on year to RMB 673.80 billion (US $ 104.06 billion). The increase is a sign of corporate consolidation, which has resulted in more customers spending on fashion items. China’s online fashion income has also grown by 24.10 percent, with an average growth rate of 9.80 percent over the last two years.
