Burhanpur would be the site of a 300-crore Madhya Pradesh government textile plant

Burhanpur Textile Private Limited Business, a textile manufacturing company located in Burhanpur, met with Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan today at Mantralaya. During this time, they presented Chief Minister Shri Chouhan with a proposal to invest Rs 300 crore in a textile project in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh.
Shri Omprakash Mittal, Shri Ravi Poddar, Shri Vedant Mittal, Shri Sudhir Pate, and Shri Sunil Mor were among the industry representatives present. M/s Burhanpur Textile Limited began operations in 1956. In Burhanpur, the business operates 9 units. In the fiscal year 2020-21, the firm expects to earn more than Rs 221 crore.
1000 employees will be hired.
The project’s operation will employ around 1000 people. Direct work will be accessible to 200 people, while self-employment will be open to about 800 people.
