India will strike an agreement with Bangladesh to export 10 lakh bales of cotton per year

The Indian government will shortly sign an agreement with Bangladesh to export 10 lakh bales of cotton each year.
“The Memorandum of Understanding will permit a government-to-government transaction. The MoU will be inked soon,” said Cotton Corporation of India Limited Chairman-cum-Managing Director Pradeep Kumar Agarwal (CCI).
According to Agarwal, the CCI would manage exports to Bangladesh. Kharif Outlook: Encouraged by higher profits, cotton producers may plant more cotton this year.
