Versarien, a graphene firm, claims to be ready for development in the clothing and textile sectors. Since its inception in 2011, the Cheltenham-based firm has worked on more than 100 projects in a variety of industries. The company has collaborated with industrial thread maker Coats, Sri Lankan conglomerate MAS, and brands such as Calvin Klein, H&M, and Nike.
Versarien is the largest provider of graphene inks to the sportswear sector in the world. For almost a decade, the French business has been working on graphene technology, and it aims to extend its collaboration with Adidas. Versarien intends to establish a new market for graphene-based sports fabrics. Graphene is one of the most conductive materials on the planet, and it can be used to manufacture clothing that lasts longer and more easily.
