Jersey Lomellina has committed more than EUR 2 million in its digitization process in order to become more robust, competitive, and efficient. The business is the market leader in stretch circular knitted textiles in Italy. It aspires to make its manufacturing process more intelligent, networked, and totally automated.
Jersey Lomellina is spending m on a new artificial intelligence system to boost productivity and enhance working conditions. According to Jersey Lomelli, the man/machine partnership brings together new technology and human abilities, which are still at the heart of the initiative. “We’re talking about new business models and technologies that make use of Artificial Intelligence.”
For years, Jersey Lomellina has used 100 percent recycled and environmentally friendly raw materials from pre- and post-consumer items. The firm has been implementing environmental policies and creative programmes aimed at building a fully sustainable supply chain and a circular economy model, all while protecting the health of its employees and the well-being of both local communities and the global environment.
“These significant expenditures enable us to continuously update our objectives: consolidating our market share, respecting the environment, and appreciating our collaborators,” explains Fiorella Angeloni, General Manager of Jersey Lomelliad.

Since 1977, it has served as a symbol of Bergamo’s district, and it has become synonymous with Made in Italy around the world. The firm has over 40 years of experience in the textiles sector and employs 100 people with an average annual revenue of EUR 50 million.
