Textile Machinery: Orders another time at the upward thrust for first Quarter 2021

The index of order inputs for fabric equipment assembled via means of ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers during the period of January-March 2021 changed up via means of 66% in comparison to the same interval for 2020. The worth of the index was established at 129.3 points (basis: 2015 = 100).

This result turned on overall performance for orders coming in from overseas in addition to from the Italian market. A 68% uplift was recorded on overseas markets, with an absolute worth of the index extending 125.5 points. On the national side, the upward fashion in orders was more restrained.
