The Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) has cancelled its February edition due to the current restrictions in the pandemic, and is launching a digital platform, CIFF Digital, designed to inform and connect fashion professionals across the globe. CIFF is a leading fashion show in Northern Europe which has set its foot firmly in the fashion market.
Offering fresh creative license, the new digital format provides a comprehensive virtual presentation of the fashion fair’s exhibitors together with new ways to connect online. CIFF Digital unites the buyer community and media with brands of interest through inspiring imagery and bios. The platform’s intuitive album function lets visitors save, share, store, and shop favourite brands and products, as well as providing new suggestions in line with search preferences to generate new discoveries and opportunities for further connection, according to a press release by CIFF.
Moreover, direct access to the CIFF global relations team ensures international buyers are linked directly with exhibiting brands for optimal results.
“The new digital showcase allows brands and designers to present their latest collections to buyers and journalists virtually when physical contact is limited. The collaborative online portal is aimed to complement rather than co-opt the biannual fashion fair, fostering knowledge, connection and trade at a time when we need it most,” Christina Neustrup, director of CIFF, said in a press release.
