• Introduction and location

Venezuela is a beautiful country located on the northern coast of South America. It contains small islands which give a natural attraction to tourists. The capital of the beautiful country is “Caracas” with wide urbanization. It has 26 regional languages in total. It was colonized by Spain in 1552.
This country not only has a natural attraction but also contains the world’s biggest oil reserves in the world.
This country is ranked 96th on the Human Development index.

• The people and art of Venezuela
Venezuela is a very diverse province. The original native is Spanish of this heritage. On the arrival of the 17th century, many immigrants brought Italian, Portuguese Germans, Jews, etc.

Venezuela’s art and heritage are influenced by the Caribbean context.

• The culture of Venezuela
The divine culture of Venezuela is a melting pot that is divided into three sub-groups.

1)The indigenous Venezuelans

This culture was differentiated according to their tribes. A typical culture synchronization leads to this culture. This culture has various parallels with the culture of Latin American culture but it has unique characteristics.

2)The African Culture

This culture was limited to a few words, food names, places, etc. This African civilization introduced “Drums” to the culture. Africans also gave major musical prominences.

3) The Spanish Culture

Spanish culture gave a major impact on the architecture, music, art, etc of the country.
It can be seen in the bullfights also.

• The Architecture of the country

The most important architect of the country was ” Carlos Raul Villaneuva”. The Central University of Venezuela was designed by him.

• The Art of the country
Many religious beliefs dominated the art in the starting but after the end of the 18th century and the arrival of the 19th century begin emphasizing the historic vertical representation through beautiful art.
