The FDCI India Couture Week 2020 was an extravagant digital affair this year. The six-day long fashion event took off on September 18 especially with the current on-going scenario with the pandemic and everything being closed and stopped Fashion stated that It can not stop. and came to a grand close with acclaimed fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s couture film, featuring the Beautiful Janhvi Kapoor as the showstopper.
A royal bride, the diva looked very elegant in a green and gold lehenga featuring very intricate embroidery. The exquisite creation was paired with an embellished blouse and a net dupatta. Complete with magnificent gold and emerald jewelry pieces by the designer, Janhvi Kapoor had all our attention and stole our hearts!
Ruhaaniyat- A celebration called life, Manish Malhotra “the film depicted the “Nazakat of Awadh and the vibrance of Punjab” and was a tribute to the heritage and artistry of Indian craftsmen”. The Famous designer had earlier shared in interviews how it was a new experience to showcase his collection on a digital medium. Speaking about his muse, he had said Janhvi Kapoor had an inherent style reflective of her late mother, Sridevi.
It was always very evident how Sridevi and Manish Malhotra were very fond of each other.
