Central Collective’s new line offers ‘Party PPE’, which comprises of hand sewn, decorative masks that are available on their Instagram page.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Social distancing has us all confined in our houses, with no parties on our schedules. However, bright, quirky masks present a silver lining to have some fun in small gatherings.

Herdcore, a design line and photography series from Central Collective’s prime supporters, incorporates new sorts of fun face masks accessible for individuals to purchase. They were made through a collaboration between Dale Mackey and Shawn Poynter.

The masks reflect the clothing people often wear to parties- bright and flashy colours, all adorned with frills.

The masks can be bought through auctions held on their instagram pages. The bidding for masks ends on September 6 at midnight.

Herdcore, a photo series curated by the duo, urges people to look away from the ill effects that Covid-19 has left the world reeling in, and instead concentrate on the many changes that nations have brought in and the resilience of humankind despite catastrophe.
