BCI creates an advisory committee on custody chain

GENEVA – The Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) has formed a new custody advisory group comprising member and non-member brands, producers and civil society organisations, working to ensure that new custody technologies are commercially feasible and desirable for stakeholders.

The system of the BCI Chain of Custody meets supply demand and helps to enable cotton farmers to adopt sustainable practices. Supply chain integrity manager of the company, Joyce Lam, said: “We are excited to work together to help shape the future of the Good Cotton Custody Chain.”
