Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board (GRAB) announces a new Textile Recycling program in Greenwich in partnership with The Town of Greenwich. The project is part of the Town of Greenwich ‘s wider commitment to sustainability and waste reduction.

GRAB is partnering with Fairco-Greentree Recycling, a for-profit, Fairfield-based company that provides no cost-effective , environmentally friendly textile collection services to redeploy unwanted textiles to those in need.

In their fundraising activities Fairco-Greentree has collaborated with Greenwich High School clubs and the Greenwich Rotary Club over the past few years.A portion of the proceeds will be donated to GRAB over recycling and other waste diversion strategies for education and community outreach.
