Pratibha Syntex took significant measures against Corona to ensure the safety of their employees

Amidst the chaos and turmoil caused by the Corona virus (Covid19) across the country and the world, leading textile company Pratibha Syntex has taken significant steps to ensure the safety of its employees. Initially, the organization has asked 50% of its employees to work from home but due to emergency lockdown declared by the Government, Pratibha Syntex has given paid leave to all its employees. The company has stopped all the productions and has announced to provide medical assistance to their employees and families. Until now, every person entering the office premises were checked with a laser gun to determine the body temperature at the main gate. Those with high body temperature were not allowed to enter. Apart from this, the company also released an advisory through mails to spread the awareness of Covid19. Office premises were cleaned twice a day while office buses were cleaned with disinfectant on regular basis. Further, hand washes and sanitizers were kept in certain places for use. The company cancelled its annual day to avoid large gatherings.

According to Mr. Jha Vice President of Pratibha Syntex, “We are taking many precautions to ensure the safety of our employees. We have stopped travels for employees and customers. Also, we are running an awareness drive ‘Namaste karo na’ with helpline number.”

Mr. Sanjay Jain, HR Manager says that, “We were keeping a close watch with the use of laser guns on the people entering through the main gate. Those who had high body temperature were not allowed to enter while masks were being distributed to those who had common cold. We are advising everyone to wear masks.”
