All of the NEC “Uzexpocentre” show spaces were used for the 15th Anniversary Central Asian International Textile Machinery show, or CAITME 2024, which took place in Tashkent from September 11–14, 2024.

CAITME celebrated its 15th anniversary this year and once again shown why it is rightfully regarded as Central Asia’s center for textile innovations. It is the region’s most prestigious international exhibition on this topic, and the UFI World Exhibition Association’s independent audit frequently attests to its high standing. It is the second-biggest event on the Asian continent and the largest among comparable events in the CIS.

Austria, Belgium, China, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and Uzbekistan were among the 22 nations represented among the 403 companies that attended the exhibition.

CAITME serves as a venue for showcasing and demonstrating the advancements and accomplishments of global producers of sewing and textile equipment. The exhibit featured both cutting-edge innovations and equipment and technology that had been tested for years.

For instance, the ROBOspin, the first completely automated yarn joining robot for the current and earlier generations of Rieter ring spinning machines, was introduced at the ROBOspin trade show by the Swiss textile industry pioneer Rieter.

The renowned German manufacturer Truetzschler presented the innovative new TC30i carding machine for processing cotton fibre, which achieves the best possible quality level from any raw material, high productivity independent of the machine operator, and rational handling of slubs that can be sold afterwards.

Global innovator, Saurer, a trend-setter in fibre and yarn processing, presented for the first time in Uzbekistan at CAITME 2024 the Autoairo high-speed technology, the new Zinser 51 ring spinning machine, and the Autocard SC 7.

Additionally, nearly every stand at the exhibition featured work and mock-ups of these significant, energy-efficient, high-performance innovations. They are what draw specialists from the industry and give the expo its importance.

More than 6,100 experts from ____ nations attended the show, which is clear evidence of its importance and role as a platform for industry experts to communicate effectively. It showcases the newest innovations and technologies for every stage of textile and apparel production for the entire Central Asian and CIS region.

The fact that the show received extensive media coverage demonstrates the high level of interest in it. Numerous radio stations, six television networks, and various print and internet media outlets covered the event. Not including the numerous reports in news bulletins, articles, photo reports, and special reports, there were over ten live broadcasts in total.

According to surveys and direct conversations, the vast majority of exhibitors said that attending the event was beneficial for presenting their inventions, keeping up business relationships, and finding new partners and customers. The large number of reservations—80% of exhibitors reserved spots at CAITME 2025—confirms this.
