Roadshow on Bharat Tex 2025 in Coimbatore Evokes huge Response

A Roadshow to promote Bharat Tex 2025 was organized at Hotel LeMeridien in Coimbatore on October 4, 2024, by MATEXIL, an Export Promotion Council that promotes exports of Manmade Fibre textiles and technical textiles with the support of another Export Promotion Council PDEXCIL.

The Roadshow was well attended by over 450 people, senior officials from the Ministry of Textiles and Tamil Nadu Government and Chairmen & MDs of leading textiles companies in the State of Tamil Nadu.

The Secretary Textiles, Smt Rachna Shah, who was the Chief Guest on the ocassion said that Bharat Tex has now become the World’s biggest exhibition for textiles and apparel in a short time and covers the entire value chain of textiles. She assured that the Government will support the event in making it bigger in scale and coverage. She also urged Tamil Nadu to become partner State in Bharat tex 2025.

Shri Rajeev Saxena, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Textiles in his Presentation highlighted the huge success the first edition of Bharat Tex that was held in February 2024. He spoke Bharat Tex 2025 is expected to attract over 5,000 exhibitors, 6,000 foreign buyers, 1,20,000 trade visitors and over 60 knowledge sessions.

He further stated that the event has gained traction both domestically and internationally and exhibitors and buyers are looking forward towards participating in Bharat Tex 2025 in large numbers. He also informed that large portion of exhibition area is already sold and urged the Companies to come forward and book their space to participate.

Shri V. Arun Roy, Secretary (Industries), Tamil Nadu Government who was present on the occassion , invited Companies from Tamil Nadu to participate in Bharat Tex 2025.

Shri Bhadresh Dodhia Chairman MATEXIL and who is the Co-Chairman of the Core Committee to organize Bharat Tex mentioned that Bharat Tex is in line with the Vision of 5 Fs i.e Farm to fibre; fibre to factory; factory to fashion; fashion to foreign.
He said that India always felt the need for an exhibition for textiles & Apparels of global scale and standard and Bharat tex has successfully fulfilled that requirement.

This year Bharat Tex 2025 will cover an area of about 2,20,000 sq.mtrs and exhibitors will display the entire value chain of Textiles such as Fibre, Yarn, Fabrics, Garments, Made ups and Technical Textiles.

Bharat Tex 2025 will be held at Bharat Mandapam and IEML in Delhi NCR. The event will be organized collectively by all the Textiles Export Promotion Councils with the active support from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
