Acquiring important Heytex Group divisions expands the technology platform and increases market reach. Freudenberg Performance Materials plans to grow Mehler Texnologies, its coated technical textile company, by purchasing a sizeable chunk of the Heytex Group from Bencis Capital Partners, a private equity firm. Heytex’s primary activities, which comprise three production sites in Germany and China, as well as all corporate operations, including sales and R&D, are included in this acquisition.

Heytex Group is a leader in the production of practical textiles of superior quality, with its headquarters located in Bramsche, Germany. The segments that are being acquired employed about 400 people and produced sales of about €100 million in the previous year. Antitrust authorities must approve the deal before it can proceed.
