GKD at FILTECH 2024: Water management & hot gas filtration

The revolutionary CAPTURION technology, which filters microplastics, is one of the highlights. With the use of this technology, storm sewers are able to collect a significant amount of tire debris that would otherwise be released into the environment by rainwater runoff due to abrasion.

Special mesh for hot gas filtration 

The GKD booth will feature hot gas filtration mesh technology in addition to water and microplastic filtration solutions. The TRIMETRIC and VOLUMETRIC filtration meshes, which are especially designed for industrial dust and exhaust gas filtering in the automotive sector, are the main subject of this discussion.

GKD experts on stage at the conference 

A large number of experts from GKD will once again be attending the FILTECH conference this year, which is taking place at the same time as the trade show.  

  • On Tuesday, November 12, at 1:00 pm, Markus Knefel, Senior Product Predevelopment & Development Expert, will present GKD’s Vortex technology – a patented, high-efficiency solution for the filtration and separation of continuously flowing air and liquids.  
  • On Wednesday, November 13, at 4:45 pm, Dominik Herper (Research & Development) will speak about the “Water Permeability Test for Porous Materials”. 
  • On Thursday, November 14, at 1:00 pm, Danial Venghaus, Key Market Manager for Water, together with the team from the Berlin Institute of Technology will be presenting their URBAN FILTER project where they tested the CAPTURION filter system under live conditions in Berlin’s urban traffic.
