The ISMC once again invites students from around the world to create campaigns that raise public awareness about environmental issues related to textile waste and the innovative technology platforms of Clean Recycling Initiative™

Montreal, Canada:

The third annual International Sustainability Marketing Competition (ISMC), scheduled for the fall of 2024, is being announced by Clean Recycling InitiativeTM in response to the great success of the second edition in 2023, which saw participation from approximately 300 schools and universities across 63 nations. This year, the competition launches a brand-new prize category called the “Africa Award,” which is made possible by partnerships with Tailorlux of Germany and Corporate Career Academy (CCA) of Kenya, as well as with GreenLead.

“A crucial element of this fight is education. Students who take part will have the chance to discover important environmental problems that are caused by the textile items we use on a daily basis and investigate workable solutions. For this reason, we are holding educational sessions and mandating that students show up to at least one of them,” stated Clean Recycling InitiativeTM CEO Sae Chang.

“The competition has rapidly grown to become the largest of its kind in just two years, driven by global interest in the subject and the tremendous efforts of the organizing team, judges, and ambassadors who have graciously taken on these important roles,” she said.

Multiple information sessions with identical educational content have been scheduled across three different time zones to accommodate as many global participants as possible. Detailed schedules for these sessions can be found on the Clean Recycling Initiative™ website: https://cleanrecyclinginitiative.com/competition/
