Pacific Textiles, a Hong Kong-based expert in knitted fabrics, has teamed up with Blue Yonder to update its warehousing procedures. The goal of the partnership is to replace Pacific’s antiquated legacy warehouse system, which was unable to keep up with the increasing number and complexity of transactions, and enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and agility of the company’s supply chain operations.

Pacific Textiles may now see real-time inventory information thanks to Blue Yonder’s system, which speeds up and improves order fulfillment and allows for data-driven decision-making. This improvement also enables the business to lower operating expenses, optimize its supply chain, and better serve changing client needs.

Real-time location systems (RTLS), transportation management systems (TMS), and material handling equipment (MHE) are just a few examples of the external systems that the new warehouse management solution is made to easily integrate with. For Pacific Textiles, this adaptability is crucial, particularly as it grows its operations by establishing a new factory in Vietnam and increasing the complexity of its supply chain.

Hubert Tsang, CIO at Pacific Textiles, stated, “We knew we needed a modern warehouse management solution that could scale with our business.” ” An agile platform that enables seamless connections is necessary for our recent expansion into Vietnam, where we are pursuing operational efficiencies through automation. Our choice was influenced in large part by Blue Yonder’s innovative reputation and track record of successful implementations

.”With Blue Yonder’s warehouse management, Pacific Textiles can implement a strategy that leverages advanced technology, enabling a more agile, efficient, and responsive supply chain that adapts to market dynamics and customer needs,” stated Antonio Boccalandro, Blue Yonder’s president for APAC.
