Neumuenster, Germany, August 22, 2024 – The Swiss Oerlikon Group’s Oerlikon Polymer Processing Solutions Division is growing its customer service and spare parts business in the domain of machinery and systems for the manufacture of industrial yarns (IDY) and carpet yarns (BCF). In order to achieve this, the business in August signed a contract with the Moenchengladbach, Germany-based Truetzschler Group. The new contacts for customer service and spare parts business for Truetzschler’s BCF and IDY technologies installed in the market are Oerlikon Neumag’s technology specialists and service staff. The textile machinery company located in Moenchengladbach is leaving this market area to focus on its nonwovens.

For the synthetic fiber sector, Oerlikon Polymer Processing Solutions provides end-to-end solutions. They come with automation and digital solutions and span from texturized yarn to extrusion and polycondensation facilities. A unified technology is ensured by sourcing all production steps from a single supplier, guaranteeing the excellent quality of the yarns produced.

Oerlikon Neumag—a division of Oerlikon Textile GmbH & Co. KG and a brand of the Oerlikon Polymer Processing Solutions Division—has been a well-known and well positioned global provider with shown experience in the BCF industry for many years. It is headquartered in Neumuenster, Germany. Oerlikon Barmag, a sibling company of the division based in Remscheid, Germany, provides its IDY systems expertise.

“Our range of customer services and spare parts for existing BCF and IDY systems from Truetzschler fits perfectly into our existing Oerlikon Polymer Processing Solutions business model,” states Georg Stausberg, CEO of the Division.

According to the Truetzschler Group, Oerlikon Neumag is the ideal partner to provide customer support and spare parts for its previous clients’ installed Truetzschler BCF and IDY systems on the market in the future.
