The well-known yogurt company Stonyfield Organic revealed on Tuesday the arrival of a limited-edition four-piece apparel line composed only of textiles derived from sugarcane.
The company emphasized that their new sugar-free yogurt product served as the inspiration for this distinctive clothing line, highlighting the idea that sugar shouldn’t be included in children’s lunchboxes. A plant-based bioplastic generated from sugarcane, a renewable resource, is used to make the collection.
The cellulose from sugarcane stalks is extracted, spun into fibers, and woven into fabric as part of the production process. This complements the brand’s dedication to environmentally responsible methods by providing a sustainable substitute for conventional polyester.
Three specially made children’s t-shirts and one adult t-shirt will be included in the collection. In keeping with Stonyfield’s family-friendly and carefree brand image, each tee will have an entertaining, vibrant graphic and cheerful writing.
