The ZDHC Foundation, a pioneer in sustainable chemical management, and Cascale, formerly known as the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, have announced their partnership. The collaboration seeks to better coordinate and advance environmental sustainability initiatives in the fashion and consumer products sectors as a whole.
Cascale and ZDHC spearheading programs aimed at improving data quality, reducing redundancies, and streamlining operations. They also intend to support industry-wide, coordinated education on sustainable chemical management. The partnership seeks to unify approaches to environmental sustainability at the facility level by utilizing each organization’s key expertise.
This collaboration will keep pushing for coordinated efforts to guarantee steady advancements in important environmental impact domains like air quality, sustainable chemical practices, and wastewater management. The cooperation expands on previous initiatives, such as the integration of ZDHC’s Supplier to Zero Program with Cascale’s Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) 4.0 and ZDHC’s Brands to Zero reporting with Cascale’s Higg Brand and Retail Module (BRM).
Colin Browne, CEO of Cascale, said, “We are excited to work with ZDHC to advance our shared vision of environmental sustainability.” “This partnership with Cascale is pivotal in our mission to advance environmental sustainability,” stated Frank Michel, CEO of ZDHC Foundation. Policymakers, business executives, and nongovernmental organizations must collaborate in a coordinated manner to achieve systemic change.
