CMAI is hosting the 79th NGF in Mumbai Seerna Rajamouli

Mumbai, July 23, 2024: The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) hosted the 79th National Garment Fair (NGF) 2024, which was officially opened on July 23rd by Seerna Rajamouli of R S Brothers, the top retail group in South India. Industry leaders, apparel manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and other industry members attended the event, which was held at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC and the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon.

For the next four days, from July 23 to July 26, 2024, the 79th NGF will feature over 1300 apparel brands in an impressive 1 million square feet of exhibition space spread across two venues: Men’s Wear, Women’s Wear and Accessories at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, and Kids Wear at the Jio Convention Centre, BKC. The exhibition will feature a wide variety of collections for the largest gathering of Indian retailers and distributors.

Along with other office bearers and managing committee members, CMAI dignitaries in attendance at the inauguration included Rajesh Masand, President; Rohit Munjal, Vice President & Chairman, NGF; Santosh Katariya, Hon. General Secretary; Ankur Gadia, Hon. Treasurer; Anand Choksi, Jt. Chairman, NGF; and Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor.

The president of the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), Rajesh Masand, stated of the domestic garment market, “The apparel industry is optimistic about the upcoming festive season.” The National Garment Fair not only displays the colorful and varied products of clothing businesses, but it also demonstrates the industry’s resiliency in the wake of two years of weak demand.
