ProtaTech India Welcomes Thai Delegation for Pioneering Indo-Thai Public Health Collaboration

ProtaTech India, a leading IT company based in Gurgaon, welcomed a distinguished delegation from Thailand on Friday as part of an ongoing Indo-Thai cross-country collaboration aimed at revolutionizing public health management. The delegation was led by renowned Thai medical expert Dr. Surakiat Achananuparp and Mr. Tawee Khositjiranun, Co-founder of Smart Doctor Innovation Company and former Advisor to the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Abraham Kumar, President and CEO of ProtaTech India.

The delegation included Pisit Poosanakhom, CEO of Villa Market; Prof. Pattarachai Kiratisin, Distinguished Professor of Microbiology at Mahidol University; Dr Jirawud Kuvanant, President Kow Yoo Hah Group; as well as other members such as Tulapawn Achananuparp, Dr. Pichet Kittara, Ronnapong Kamnuanthip, and Ms. Catarina Hu. Additionally, from ProtaTech, Fuzail Ahmad, Brijesh Srivastava, Vineet Mathew, and Tanvi Gujral were also present. The visit marks a significant milestone in the Indo-Thai partnership, which seeks to leverage technological advancements and shared knowledge to enhance public health systems in both nations. By integrating India’s advanced technological capabilities with Thailand’s medical expertise, this collaboration aims to address and improve primary healthcare delivery, particularly benefiting the Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers in India. During the visit, discussions centered around the transformative potential of combining India’s advanced technology with Thailand’s medical expertise to support primary health care facilities. These centers play a crucial role in delivering healthcare services to remote areas, and the integration of cutting-edge IT solutions is expected to enhance their operational efficiency and service quality.

A key highlight of the discussion is the empowerment of ASHA workers. These frontline health workers are pivotal in providing primary care and promoting health literacy at the grassroots level. By equipping them with advanced technological tools and training, this program aims to improve healthcare delivery, foster self-care, and enhance health literacy across India’s diverse population.
