Indian textiles firm Welspun Living announced a 16.4% increase in fourth-quarter profit, driven by robust demand for its home textile and flooring products. The company’s consolidated net profit surged to Rs 146 crore in the quarter ended March 31, up from Rs 125 crore in the same period last year. Total revenues for Q4 FY24 reached Rs 2,616.7 crore, marking a significant 19.2% year-on-year growth.
BK Goenka, Chairman of Welspun Group, expressed delight over the company’s remarkable performance, citing a 20% growth in FY24 that led to the highest-ever yearly revenues and sustainable profitability. PAT increased by 3.4 times. Welspun also achieved recognition as a ‘Great Place to Work’ by the GPTW Certification agency and secured a spot among the top 100 companies in India across all parameters, showcasing its outstanding achievement in the industry.
