New Delhi witnessed the grand opening of a luxurious retail destination when renowned designer Amina Bhatia collaborated with the label Simar Dugal. This dynamic partnership brought together the elements of luxury and innovation, resulting in a 1000 sq. ft. masterpiece. Located in New Delhi’s prestigious DLF Emporio, Vasant Kunj Mall, the newly opened store reflects the late Simar Dugal’s vision of Indian fashion in a maximalist style.

Amina Bhatia, the award-winning designer behind India’s leading hotels, joined forces with Simar Dugal to create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Working closely with Arjan Dugal, the brand’s creative head and director, Bhatia meticulously designed every element of the store, from partitions to the finishing touches.

The store is divided into three distinct sections – bridal, festive, and prêt – each thoughtfully curated to offer a unique experience while maintaining a cohesive brand narrative. A series of graceful arches seamlessly segment the store, guiding customers through an immersive journey.

The attention to detail is evident throughout the store, with brocade fabric upholstered dummies, vintage pendant lights, and martaban jars adorning the walls. The use of teak wood in display racks and furniture adds a timeless charm, while the entrance features a sophisticated steel and glass door.

Principal designer Amina Bhatia expressed her vision of creating a space that provides constant joy and personalisation. The Simar Dugal store is a testament to her ability to understand clients’ preferences and translate brand narratives into a physical space.
