On Friday, Collector K.M. Sarayu conducted an orientation meeting for aspiring entrepreneurs regarding the establishment of mini textile parks in the area. Under this scheme, entrepreneurs are required to submit project proposals to set up at least three units on a minimum of two acres of land.
The project includes various components such as infrastructure, comprising of a captive power plant, drainage system, sewage treatment plant, drafting plant, training centre, warehouse, raw materials godown, crèche, and workers’ quarters. Additionally, machinery plays a crucial role in this endeavour.
The mini textile park scheme offers financial aid of up to 50% of the project cost or a maximum of 2.5 crore.
