October 26, 2023, Malmö For the year 2023, Perstorp has advanced to a gold medal by EcoVadis. This indicates that Perstorp is now in the top 5% of the industry for sustainability performance.
Since its establishment in 2007, EcoVadis has expanded to become the biggest and most reputable supplier of corporate sustainability ratings globally, with a network of over 100,000 certified businesses.
“Together for Sustainability has chosen EcoVadis as its partner for sustainability assessments, and the company currently sets the bar for ESG ratings in the chemical industry. The value it adds to the value chain is demonstrated by the fact that in recent years, we have fielded more than 100 queries from clients looking for our EcoVadis data,” explains Vice President Sustainability Anna Berggren.
In 2023, Perstorp demonstrated advancement in three of the four assessment domains: Sustainable Procurement, Labour & Human Rights, and Environment.
“The most heavily weighted areas, Environment and Labour & Human Rights, have seen advancements,” says Berggren. In addition, our advancements in Sustainable Procurement put us in the top 4% of chemical firms worldwide. We are the recipients of this gold medal thanks to the incredible work of numerous company members.
