Next year’s Heimtextil expo is set to be even bigger than the previous edition, with the number of exhibitors increasing by over 8%.

This growth follows the successful return of the trade fair in January 2023, marking its first full comeback since the pandemic. The event has already registered over 2,600 exhibitors, surpassing the 2,400 companies that participated in the previous show.

Heimtextil 2024, scheduled to take place from January 9th to 12th at the Messe Frankfurt complex, will showcase several notable trends. The “Asian Excellence” and “Asian Selection” sectors for home textiles will have a strong presence. China/Hong Kong, Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh are the top four exhibiting nations.

The “Decorative & Furniture Fabrics” segment will highlight more than 300 weavers specializing in decorative and upholstery fabrics. In Hall 11.0, the “Smart Bedding” product area will feature renowned international brands and companies.

Furthermore, the “Bed & Bath” area in Hall 12 will see substantial participation from Portugal, Turkey, and Egypt, alongside well-known brands. Hall 4.0 will host the expanded “Fibres & Yarns” area for fabric and curtain manufacturers, weavers, developers, and designers.

Another noteworthy addition is the “Carpets & Rugs” product segment in Hall 5.1, with over 90 exhibitors showcasing a wide range of carpets, mats, and rugs.

Olaf Schmidt, Vice President of textiles and textile technologies at Messe Frankfurt, emphasized that Heimtextil offers a comprehensive market overview of global trends in the home and contract textiles industry, making it a central platform for industry professionals over four eventful days.
