Seminar On “Transformation in Textile World” Held in Surat on 15th July 2023.

It was a great pleasure for Kushal Network of Textile (KNOT) to conceive and host a  half day seminar on “Transformation in Textile World” on 15th July 2023. The  supporters of the seminar was Kushal Textile Institute (KTI) (A trusted name for  synthetic textiles). 

The seminar created history in Surat as a first of its kind in many ways like Theme of  Seminar, Age group of delegation, Organizational Body etc. The object of seminar  was to give an eye view of ITMA-2023 to the members of KNOT & KTI. 

Kushal Network Of Textile “KNOT”, an organization of entrepreneurs and  professionals associated with Textile, was established in 2009. KNOT aims to boost  confidence of textile entrepreneurs of Surat, by developing skills among them with  knowledge of latest technologies and business trends. Nearly 100 delegates with  average age of 35 years and 90 % of delegation below 45 years attended the seminar. 

The Theme of the seminar was “Transformation in Textile World” which was An eye  view of ITMA – 2023 @ Milan, Italy and observations of KNOT Members with  reference to the weaving industry of Surat. Total 5 – presentations by different  speakers was done. 

Mr. Minesh Adhvaryu – Chairman (KNOT association) and Director (Kushal Textile  Institute) gave welcome speech for Chief Guest, Invitees and Delegate. 

Mr. Tarun Chashmawala – President (KNOT association) spoke on “About Seminar”  and also gave introduction of Chief Guest. 

Mr. Kishorebhai Mahadevwala of M/s Rima Machines Pvt. Ltd., formerly known as  JC Machines was the Chief Guest of the event. He delivered very inspirational speech  to august gathering. 

Mr. Keyur Smart, a well-known textile consultant of Surat presented paper on “Value  addition in weaving, knitting & embroidery industry”. He explained importance  of designing in all these sectors. Also pointed out the coming challenges and  developments required in Surat industry. 

Mr. Minesh Adhvaryu – Director, Kushal Textile Institute presented paper on “New  Developments in Weaving Industry”. He explained the modern technology with  detail description of Rapier and Air-jet weaving machines which were presented for  the first time at ITMA-2023 by different companies.

Mr. Karan Chevli – A young entrepreneur of very reputed group “Anil Dyeing &  Rajni Processor” presented paper on “Developments in Processing Industry”. He  covered especially printing area and talked more about digital printing. He showed  threat of new technologies to conventional practice. 

Mr. Hemal Shah – A serial entrepreneur presented a paper on “Economic scenario &  trend which is coming in textile industry & business”. He explained about the  volume of investment required to run industry successfully. Also talked on  environment saving needs which are now becoming prime need at every place. Future  will be based on this and industry will have to take production accordingly. Also  talked about rapid change in productions, fashions and technologies. 

Mr. Kushal Adhvaryu – Director of M/s DigiEn Infosoft LLP – presented a paper on  “Developments of digitisation in the industry”. He covered every area of industry  right from production line to management to marketing. He explained in detail the  benefits of AI and Machine Learning used by different companies and concluded that  in very few years this all things will be commanding over industry. He talked about  the Start-up Valley kept in the ITMA-2023. Tremendous changes are coming in  textile world by incorporating digitisation. 

Mr. Anishbhai Vakil – a well known technocrat of processing industry gave  important tips of processing industry and Mr. Hasmukhbhai Shah – a very reputed name of vapi industry also gave motivational thoughts. 

Finally Mr. Bhavesh Patel, Vice-president of KNOT association delivered Vote of  Thanks.
