Prime Minister’s vision of having a world-class infrastructure for hosting meetings, conferences, and exhibitions in the country has led to the conceptualization of the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC)at Pragati Maidan. The Convention Centre coined with the beautiful name ‘Bharat Mandapam’ is today one of the largest in the world with a capacity for 3000 people. It is a grand architectural marvel, designed to host large-scale international exhibitions, trade fairs, conventions, conferences, and other prestigious events. Other facilities available in the Convention Centre include a 5G-enabled fully Wi-Fi-covered campus, 10G Intranet connectivity, an interpreter room equipped with cutting-edge technology to support 16 different languages, and a provision of over 5,500 vehicle parking spaces.

Chairman CITI, Mr. T Rajkumar said the IECC is a state-of-the-art facility and will help project India as a global business destination. It will definitely play a great role in boosting trade, and will also enhance economic growth, job creation, and the growth of small and medium enterprises as this is exactly the platform to showcase their products and services on a global stage.
He also mentioned that this global facility has successfully made its place among the top global convention centers of the world and we all are proud of this landmark development.
