In addition to managing the product development effort and maximising innovation for numerous business units, including display graphics, ceramics, textile, corrugated, wood, and labels, he oversaw a team of more than 60 chemists. Additionally, he oversaw the print-head technology and analytic team.

After almost three years as the Senior Director of Ink Research & Development, he was elevated to that position. Edwards spent a total of 19 years working for the business after starting as Jetrion’s Director of Development in 2004. He started out as a project manager in the UK before moving into technical roles at Domino Printing and Flint.

Paul Edwards joining the INX International Ink Co. team is something we are really happy about, added Kristo. He brings with him more than 30 years of technical expertise and leadership in the analogue and digital imaging fields, both from the standpoint of fluids and printing systems. Digital printing is our main growth platform, thus we are concentrating on it. Our ability to successfully drive this expansion endeavour in the future will be tremendously aided by his extensive experience in implementing strategy within this market sector.

The Sakata INX Group has a long history of achievement in the production of high-quality inks and technologies. I am excited to be part of the INX family and be able to create differentiated and high performing digital products for our customers,” said Edwards. “For much of my career, I have been involved with driving the analog to digital revolution in print, and in the development and commercialization of digital inks, coatings, and printing systems. Over the last few years INX has embarked on a digital journey for their customers, and I know my skills and experience can help accelerate the progress made by the team.”
