The Malegaon JR Group’s Candour Techtex, formerly Chandni Textiles Engineering Industries, changed its name in 2022 to reflect its focus on a variety of technical textiles at its new facility in Malegaon in the Nashik District of Maharashtra.
The business was established in 1986, and its current facility in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, manufactures 1.2 million metres of light velvet fabrics annually, mostly for the domestic market. for clothing and lightweight home decor. Additionally, in 2020, it started up a 4,500-ton-per-year plastic moulded component division in Gonde, Nashik.
Many of Candour Techtex’s new products are already experiencing rising demand.

Blackout textiles
Specifically, the new Blackout fabrics can be produced effectively and at scale thanks to the Amba Projex method.

Candour has bought a second Amba Projex machine with a bigger working width of 3.5 metres after putting its two-metre-wide new coating and lamination unit into full operation.
