Phase Change Solutions to Locate U.S. Headquarters to Greensboro,NC

According to today’s announcement by Governor Roy Cooper, Phase Change Solutions, a producer of products for temperature management, will create 35 new jobs in Guilford County. The company will invest more than $3.5 million in its new U.S. headquarters and manufacturing facility in the City of Greensboro.

Phase Change Solutions (PCS) produces cutting-edge materials for controlling temperature for a variety of sectors. PCS uses cutting-edge technology to provide energy-efficient solutions across industries, from construction to pharmaceuticals. to assess the energy requirements and usage for particular applications. With its new facility, the business will increase its production capacity and move its headquarters, warehouse, and R&D operations to Greensboro.

The company is adding new employees to support its R&D, manufacturing, and distribution activities. The company’s total average annual wage of $80,429 will be higher than Guilford County’s average annual wage of $57,190, notwithstanding the fact that salaries vary by position. The neighbourhood could benefit from these new jobs with a payroll impact of more than $2.8 million per year.

The One North Carolina Fund will provide PCS with a $75,000 performance-based award to aid in its growth in the state of North Carolina. To help local governments draw in business investment and generate job opportunities, the One NC Fund offers financial support. Companies receive no money up front, and to be eligible for payment, one must satisfy goals for capital investment and job creation. All One NC funds require local governments to provide a matching contribution, and each award is subject to that condition being satisfied.

Other significant participants in this project, in addition to the North Carolina Department of Commerce and Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, include the North Carolina General Assembly, Rural Infrastructure Authority, North Carolina Community College System, Guilford Tech Community College, Guilford County, Guilford County Economic Development Alliance, GuilfordWorks, Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, and City of Greensboro.
