New Delhi:- Aishwarya Singhal, a fashion designer based in New York, recently debuted her collection at New York Fashion Week 2023. Originally from Delhi, Aishwarya graduated from the prestigious Parsons School of Design in New York with a degree in Fashion Design and did her schooling at Modern School Vasant Vihar.
She has worked with well-known design houses such as Cremieux, Altuzarra, Oscar de la Renta, and Cynthia Rowley, and Indian design houses like Rohit Gandhi Rahul Khanna. Aishwarya’s creativity and craftsmanship have earned her much-deserved recognition, as her Footwear Design won an award in the category of Footwear-Accessories. She also received two honorable mention awards for her collection in the categories of Apparel Category/Apparel Projects & Avant-Garde/Women. Aishwarya’s collection challenges traditional dress practices, blurring the lines between couture and Ready to Wear. She aims to empower women through her wearable sculptures, breaking the rules formed by societies around female dress practices.
Aishwarya’s sculptural forms, inspired by flower petals, translate into wearable sculptural silhouettes while drawing inspiration from the female form.
