SIMA Welcomes Initiatives For Textiles

The state government’s statement that Tamil Nadu will have a pavilion at all international expos in order to expand the market for the state’s textile and handicraft products has been welcomed by the Southern India Mills Association.

The State government has announced 22 measures for the sector, including the development of a textile city close to Chennai, according to the association’s head, Ravi Sam, in a news release.
