The third and largest edition of TEXHIBITION Istanbul Fabric, Yarn and Textile Accessories Fair was held in Istanbul from 8-10 March. Around 440 exhibitors met at the Istanbul Expo Center on 30,000 sqm with over 18,000 visitors from more than 100 countries from the EU, UK, Eastern Europe, USA, South America, North Africa and the Middle East.
The show is on a growth path, with exhibitor numbers tripling from last year’s premiere and visitor numbers up by over 50%. Texhibition Istanbul brought the international industry together at the Istanbul Expo Center, with all three days of the fair seeing a busy business activity. Texhibition Istanbul has become the international hub for textile preliminary sector. The organisers of Texhibition are the Istanbul Textile Exporters’ Association (ITHIB) and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC).
A special focus of the fair was on the topic of sustainability and the European Green Deal, an important starting point for the Turkish industry to meet the requirements of European customers.
The next Texhibition Istanbul is scheduled for 13-15 September 2023.
